Whenever my parents’ dry cleaner closed for the holidays, they’d ask me to print an “adjusted hours” sign for the door.
Every year I’d brainstorm how to get my idea across, experimenting with clip art, WordArt, lots of primary colors and whatever else a 10 year old designer could get his hands on.
Those early experiments have since evolved into an art director’s brain constantly looking for better ways to communicate and tell a story.
In recent years, my time and heart have gone into helping small businesses grow in the food and beverage space.
My first real client brief came from my parents: brand and launch their new restaurant.
From there, I helped the first Korean-American winemakers bring their dream winery to life.
Otherwise, I’m the King of side quests and somewhere between eating cake and baking one
